This company is one of the world’s oldest development studios. Through its two studios in Australia they develop innovative, quality technology and computer games with high design and production values. They employ some of the best Australian talent, and provide a fantastic game development culture with a strong creative working environment.

They currently require Level Designers/World Builders who have multiplayer level design, artistic and technical skills. Experience developing levels for games on PC or console is essential. Applicants must have a good understanding of gameplay and the ability to configure and tune level layouts. They will work to bring the architecture, props, lighting, event triggers and AI scripting together into a fun, atmospheric experience. They will work under direction of the Lead Level Designer. The successful candidates will need to have the ability to design in a collaborative environment, contributing and evaluating ideas in both their own, and their co-workers, levels.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to construct interesting game levels
- At least 2 years' experience using game editors / scripting systems
- Ability to design to given specifications
- Ability to analyze and tune level layouts to maximize gameplay
- Good communication skills
- Good collaborative team skills
- Ability to provide accurate time estimates on deliverables.
- A passion for all games and game development.

Desirable:
- Multiplayer level design experience
- 3DS Max modeling experience.
- Python or other scripting language experience.
- Good drawing skills
- Understanding of MMOGs

Submission Guidelines:
A portfolio URL or CD containing completed level designs is required with all applications. Playable levels are encouraged, but commented walkthroughs are acceptable. For playable levels, please include loading instructions. Candidates should also indicate what parts of the level they created, a summary of their thought process, and an analysis of the completed design.
