This Brighton based studio is part of an extremely well known games brand. It was originally an idependant studio responsible for several top selling games. It was recently taken over and now benefits from merits of a small company culture combined with the strength and support of its parent. It also enjoys a terrific location.
They are currently looking for a Designer who has an artistic background.
The role would require the successful applicant to take on one of the vital aspects of the game (GUI) and champion it for the team, as well as being responsible for graphical effects. You will be working closely with the art team to ensure the overall graphical quality of the game.
Main duties for the role include designing and building the GUI, creating graphical effects, working closely with the art team.
Essential skills for the role include:
- 3 years experience, good all-round artistic skills,
- GUI design, experience in using graphical tools,
- console games development.
Desirable skills:
- Wii experience,
- LUA scripting.
You should be a self-motivated individual who works well within a team, and be driven to produce the best results with the available resources. We will consider a graphic artist from outside of the games industry for this role *This will initially be a contract role, but may go permanent for the ideal candidate.*.
