This is the Surrey arm of one of the largest independent games developers in Europe. With studios in three UK locations, they develop games for all major consoles, PC and wireless.
They require a talented Programmer to join them. The main duties for the role will be to take ownership of game and tools modules, meeting art and design requirements for those modules, communicating with the senior staff to give pertinent and timely management information about the work, mentoring junior members of staff. You should possess a high degree of flexibility, due to the varied workload. Essential skills for the role include good C++, good debugging capabilities, customer focused design experience, general module design/planning. Desirable skills include Lua, Perforce, C#, Trc/Lotchecks. Ideally you will have worked on at least one project through submission and release, be able to work autonomously, have some prior experience of console development, be keen and eager to train and learn.
