This highly successful studio on the South Coast is owned by a global company that self-publishes and licenses a broad portfolio of video games for multiple platforms in all major markets worldwide.
They are looking for a Track Designer to play a key role in their cross-discipline Environment Team: working with artists and other designers to design the layout, pacing and content of action-packed race tracks. Using both in-house proprietary and commercial tools, the Track Designer creates and tweaks the track from initial concept layout to the final polished, shippable asset. As well as designing the actual layout of the track, the Designer also implements many important items, including scripting pre-defined race events, AI control points, camera paths and much more.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in games design, and demonstrate a good working knowledge of the technical restrictions and specifications for the consoles and machines frequently used by developers.
