Casual Games Assistant Producer

We are currently recruiting for highly distinguished developer of social, music and party games with recent releases on DS, PSP, XBOX360 and PS3.
The studio is currently looking to recruit an associate producer with solid games experience, knowledge of project management methodologies and prior experience of being an assistant producer on at least 1 title. You will need to be highly organised, proactive and have good time management skills. You will also need to communicate well with the team and be able to chase up problems and hard to get information from them while supporting the project producer in running the project as a whole. Main Duties: • working closely with the Producer to help ensure the smooth running of the project, team and studio • updating project-specific documentation • liaising with team to gather information and status update on tasks and issues Skills (Essential) • excellent communication, both verbal and written • skilled in the use of MS Office – specifically Excel • use and experience of bug tracking software • knowledge of different project methodologies • skilled in MS Project • experience of localization • ideally will have knowledge and experience of an entire project lifecycle The Person • previous games experience on at least one project • proven ability to chase down issues and information • proven ability to self-motivate and time manage • energy and enthusiasm about making games To find out more about the role and our client please contact John Chalkley on 01206 214414 or send your CV for my attention to officemanager@opmjobs.com
