Producer - Eastern European Localisation

My client is one of the world's most recognised and respected games companies, has a rich history within the games industry and a number of genuine AAA IP's within their portfolio.

Position Overview
The primary objective of a Producer for our Eastern European Localisations position is to account manage and project manage both our internal and external studios and ensure that the company delivers quality products to its consumer base, on time and on budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with each distribution partner and define level of management and support required on a title-by-title, deal-by-deal basis
  • To project manage the localisation of each product for Eastern European territories, ensuring a consistent approach within the companies range of products
  • To report on projects’ status progresses internally and escalate issues as required
  • Promote the understanding of the various localisation requirements so that products are released in Eastern Europe on time, on budget and to the appropriate standards of quality
  • To work with appropriate overseas offices and distributors to ensure that the quality of the product meets the needs of the relevant markets
  • To work with appropriate overseas offices and distributors to ensure that the product is delivered to allow simultaneous ship with other territories
  • To work with External Production and development teams to ensure that they understand the importance of the Eastern European language SKUs and secure the right level of attention and appropriate resources are given to meet projects’ needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven ability with working on multiple titles at any given time
  • Recent experience of multiplatform development
  • Strong account management and project management skills
  • Strong level of experience in localisation games development including development of AAA titles
  • Presentations to senior management on the return on investment of new product
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Commercial and financial awareness
  • Strong verbal and numeric reporting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of competitor products and sales trends within the industry
  • Knowledge and experience of PC and console games development
  • An ability to evaluate games from a commercial focus versus personal focus
· Knowledge and experience of Slavic languages – especially Russian – would be a significant advantage.
