This Scottish company works solely on original game titles for next gen consoles, using a unique concept and technology that will create new possibilities in massively multi-player on-line gaming. Work within a talented QA Team on the high-profile, next generation MMO game, using cutting-edge technology. You will be helping to build and manage our growing QA department.


Responsibilities:
- Prioritise and schedule all aspects of testing
- Schedule and assist the test team in the creation of test documentation
- Tutor and coach the test team in best practices for testing both from scripted test cases, and by drawing on your own knowledge of how to find bugs
- Provide status reports to the QA Manager and the Production team, flagging any risks to milestone deadlines
- Manage the performance, discipline and personal development of QA staff
- Conduct progress reviews at each milestone, generating meaningful and constructive conclusions and recommendations
- Interview candidates for QA tester positions

Qualifications Required:
- ISEB foundation course in software testing desirable.
- Computer games technology degree or similar related Degree desirable.

Experience Required
- 3+ years experience in QA or Production
- Must have taken at least 1 title through to ship

Knowledge/Skills Required
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and written
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organisational skills, both on an individual and team basis
- Experience with working to deadlines and the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of bug tracking software
- Must have uncompromising standards of quality in performing job functions and a strong focus on delivery.
