German QA Tester - New

Our Client is the leader in localisation, audio and quality assurance outsourcing. Their wide client list include the largest publishers and developers within the industry.They have localised thousands of games across all platforms and genres. My clinet is looking for a Native German Tester who will be responsible for liguistic checking and reporting of video games across all hardware platforms for US Clients.

Responsibilities:
- carry out specific checks in a consistent and thorough manner as part of a structured test plan
- ensure that all problems and bugs recorded are done so in an efficient and informative manner
- write up bug reports to the high standard required by our vendors. This includes using correct naming conventions and displaying a concise style of writing whilst ensuring that all the necessary information (what the bug is, how to recreate it, etc.) is contained within the report
- use investigative skills to find problems, whilst continuing to complete tasks set by the Language Team Lead or Language Assistant Team Lead.

Skills required:
- knowledge and experience in the a QA role
- computer literacy, word processing, database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PPT, PDF
- knowledge of bug tracking databases such as DevTrack, TTP and Mantis an advantage
- basic IT skills
- clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ideally previous work experience with in a video game localisation/QA environment at an agency or publisher/developer.

Ideally the candidate will be a committed and/or passionate gamer, with good game excellent play skills.
